Product Analyzer provides access to all available trial data for the selected product.
It allows you to review the performance in different environments and gives transparency about the competitiveness of the hybrids.
It displays cumulated averages or the specific results from every trial location.
Overview

Overview provides a summary of the agronomic profile of the selected hybrid. The agronomic traits and scores are crop and country specific.
Positioning summaries the key benefits of the hybrid. The rating and scores for the individual traits are provided by the local Technical Crop Experts and the Marketing Team. Scores are normally built on a scale from 1-10. But scale is flexible and could be set independently for each country and each crop. The green bar is a visual reference, to show the strength and weaknesses across the different traits.
Fit

Fit displays the performance by TPR (Stress), Soil Texture and Yield Level.

Performance by Temperature/Precipitation Ratio (Stress level)
For each dimension you can select the Performance chart or the Yield & Data table.

Yield +/- CHK MT/ha: This is the difference in Yield versus the average of the check hybrids in the trials. The check hybrids are selected market standards.
Win %: The winning ratio is calculated on the number of direct comparisons. If a product has been compared in 10 trials against 10 other hybrids, we have 100 direct comparisons. If the products had higher yields in 80 comparisons the winning ratio is 80%.

Field |
Description |
Avg Yld |
Average yield of the selected product. The average is calculated across all locations. |
+/- CHK |
This is the absolute yield difference between the average of the selected product and the average of the check hybrids. |
Avg Yld Checks |
Average yield of the check hybrids. |
+/- CHK % |
Relative yield difference between the average of the selected product and the average of the check hybrids. |
Win % |
The winning ratio is calculated on the number of direct comparisons. If a product has been compared in 10 trials against 10 other hybrids, we have 100 direct comparisons. If the product had higher yields in 80 of the direct comparisons the winning ratio is 80%. |
Locs |
Locs is the number of trial locations where the product has been tested in the specific environment. |
Min |
Minimum yield result of the selected product in this specific environment. |
Max |
Maximum yield result of the selected product in this specific environment. |

Location

Use can find a map with all trial locations, where the selected hybrid has been tested. The color of the dot indicates the performance of the hybrid at this trial compared with the “checks”. The user can zoom into the map and select every location.

Field |
Description |
Average Check Yield in Location |
Average yield of the check hybrids in that trial. |
Entry Field |
Yield of the selected product. |
Yield Diff |
Absolute yield difference between the average of the selected product and the average of the check hybrids. |
Yield Diff % |
Relative yield difference between the selected product and the average of the check hybrids. This value is used to color code the trials. |
Pairwise Comparison
User can find a detailed list of products that have been compared with the selected product. The list is grouped by breeder.

Field |
Description |
Entry |
Indicates the selected product. |
Yld +/- |
Absolute yield difference in t/ha between the average of the selected product and the average of the other product. |
DM % |
Average Dry Matter Content difference between the between the average of the selected product and the average of the other product. |
Yld +/- % |
Relative yield result of the selected product vs the average of the other product. |
Win % |
The winning ratio is calculated on the number of direct comparisons. If both products have been compared in 100 trials against each other and the selected product had higher yields in 80 of this direct comparisons the winning ratio is 80%. |
Comparisons |
Indicates the number of direct comparisons, where the selected product has been tested against the other product. |
