How to Create a Seed Solution in the New Seed Selector Interface

The Seed Selector offers two types of recommendations, depending on the level of detail and the situation in which you are working.

Multifield Recommendation

A detailed, field‑by‑field recommendation based on actual fields stored in the system. This option is best used when planning for a grower’s full season and working with their real field boundaries.

Spot Check

A quick, instant recommendation that does not require field boundaries to be set up. This option is ideal for fast conversations during farm visits or when you need a recommendation on the spot.

Below is a step‑by‑step guide to help you navigate the process.

1. Select an Organization and farm

Start by choosing the organization for which you want to create a seed solution. Once selected, the system will display all farms associated with that organization.

Next, select the farm you want to work with.

The interface gives you two options:

Option A — Create a Seed Solution for Existing Fields

You can select one or multiple existing fields and proceed directly with the recommendation steps.

Option B — Add Additional Fields

If needed, you can add more fields before creating the recommendation. This is useful when new fields were recently added or need to be included in the planning.

To access the Spot Check option in the new Seed Selector interface:

1. Select an Organization Choose the organization you want to work with.
2. Select a Farm After selecting a farm, the recommendation creation options will appear.
3. Click on “Create Recommendation” This action activates the recommendation workflow.
4. Find the Spot Check Option Once the recommendation flow opens, the Spot Check option will appear on the right side of the screen, next to the map.

 From here, you can start a quick recommendation.

Completing the Recommendation Flow

After selecting either Multifield or Spot Check, continue following the on‑screen steps to complete the recommendation. The workflow and logic remain the same as in the previous version of the user interface.

Once the seed solution is created, you will have several follow‑up options:

• Create a voucher
• Share the seed solution with the grower
• Generate a variability report (available only for Multifield recommendations)

These options help finalize the recommendation and prepare it for grower communication or internal documentation.
