This article explains how to request adding Digital Traps to a Cropwise Protector Organization and what information you need to include in your Zendesk ticket.
To add digital traps to an Organization in CW Protector, please open a Zendesk Support ticket.
Please include the following information in your request:
- Organization ID
- Organization Name
- Trap ID (specifically the assetId) for each trap you want to add.

How to Find the Required Information:
CW Protector Organization Information
You can find this information by opening Cropwise Protector and checking the URL.
Trap Information
Cropwise currently supports traps from:
- Trapview
- XFarm
- ScoutLabs
- Cropvue
Each provider uses a different ID format:

All trap information is stored in the IoT Hub.
If you are unsure which value is the assetId, or cannot identify it, simply copy all available trap data from the IoT Hub into your ticket. Make sure the trap is active before copying the data.

If the trap exists in the IoT Hub
The support team will add the trap to the requested Organization in Protector.
Please note that traps can be added at the Organization level.
If the trap does NOT exist in the IoT Hub
The support team will reply to your open ticket to inform you. After that, you will need to contact the trap provider to investigate and resolve the issue.
How to Verify That Traps Were Added
Once the traps have been added to your Organization, the support team will update you through your open ticket. You can then view the traps in:
Regional Overview → Risk Management → Pest(digital traps)
If anything appears incorrect or if you have any questions, please contact the support team via Zendesk.
